CITY OF FORT THOMAS, KY. Is now accepting applications for a Building Inspector/Zoning Administrator. A successful candidate interprets, administers and enforces zoning codes and ordinances, building codes, and other ordinances relating to the general health and welfare of the community, develops and maintains records pertaining to the office; performs related work as required. Minimum qualifications include: High School Graduate or GED, and: three years of experience in a responsible,
directly related construction position; three years of experience in an architect’s or engineer’s office performing building design or drafting duties; or graduated from a college or university with an associate degree in a design or construction related subject; or graduated from a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, fire science or building technology or certification as a
licensed building inspector in the State of Kentucky at the time of appointment or as agreed to with the General Services Director. Salary range is negotiable with excellent fringe benefit program.
