Rumpke Trash and Recycling Collection Information

Curbside Collection

To make it easy for homeowners to participate in our services, we offer full-service curbside collection. You’ll receive instructions on how to place your bins at the end of your driveway or in a predetermined spot prior to collection day. We’ll schedule pickups so that you can plan ahead to have bins prepared and placed the night before.

Our teams rely on your willingness to help with accessibility of bins. We ask that you prepare waste and recycling collection containers ahead of time following our schedules.

When does the garbage truck come for pickup in my area?

Regular collection includes weekly pickup. Collection schedules can vary based on where you’re located.

We’ll give you a schedule for garbage collection and curbside recycling, so you’ll always know when you should plan to put out items. We recommend putting trash cans and recycling bins by the curb the night before to accommodate early-morning garbage pickups.

The holiday schedule is updated on our website, www.rumpke.com, so you’ll always be able to plan for changes, such as delays in service because of holidays  like New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, or Christmas Day.

For even larger bulk trash pickups, scheduling an appointment with our junk hauling service, Haul-It-Away, for an additional fee may be necessary.
